I entered the SPFBO competition for independent fantasy books. I didn’t expect to go far, as Tosho is Dead is a YA fantasy. That said, I believe it is complex enough to satisfy even adult readers, it is the age of my hero that makes it more geared towards late teens. But one of the big perks of the competition is the review we get.
Today the Critiquing Chemist blog have just released their opinion on my novel. They had some lovely things to write about it and open by describing it as “A genuinely enjoyable story”. This really made my day!
